Living your soul purpose means living from your gut, your core intuitive knowing and intuition. It is having a sense of self, others and life that respects all walks of life and all paths, it is the understanding that we are all one and that together we can do more. Be more and have more. It is a special feeling that resonates within every human being that just feels “right.” Ahhh, brings peace. It’s about feeling good and feeling even better!
Today I walked in the park and sat down to mediate with a friend. After my session and time spent I felt the presence of someone enter the park (being the only one there I noticed.) I noticed that something was special about him though, he could sense me as I could him. My heart expanded and I felt an urge to go put my hand on his heart. Stopping myself, I waited to make sure it was “safe.” My mind was telling me you are crazy to go up to a complete stranger and start a conversation. Still, the energy called to me. If I could help him, I wanted to. Knowing we are all one, both of us would have something to share with each other if I was called to his presence and his to mine. I moved closer. I was about halfway between him and where I was standing as he said, “Hello.” I responded and asked him his name.
I immediately felt safe and walked over to greet him with a handshake. He started talking about his thoughts and how he could feel other people, hear Spirits talking to him and was almost to the point of being overwhelmed with thoughts. I asked him if the thoughts made him feel good. He said something about his thoughts not even being his own and that they often didn’t make him feel good about himself.
I felt his heart and then asked him to feel his thoughts and allow them to come down into the love inside his own heart. I told him to allow the ones that didn’t feel good to just float away downstream on a river.
He smiled. I smiled. A Divine connection was made.
A simple heart, a genuine yearning to feel love, and a gift of the present moment to find ourselves in flow with the Divine.
I walked away with a smile and felt the vibration of “Namaste” fill my being, “I greet the God inside you that is inside me.”
Thank you.
